Development Services

The Development Services Department is charged with the responsibility of facilitating responsible development within the City of Arcadia and provides comprehensive land use, economic development, engineering and transportation services. Under the direction of the Assistant City Manager/Development Services Director, the Department is organized into the following divisions:

Building Services

Building Services implements and enforces City and state codes related to the construction, remodeling, repair and demolition of buildings.

Business License

Every business that operates within the City must obtain a business license and comply with all provisions of the Arcadia Municipal Code. On
