Arcadia is a well-managed city. Its leadership and staff are top-notch, as evident in the care shown throughout the City: safe streets, well-maintained public spaces, and thoughtful planning.My objective is to represent the residents of Arcadia and sustain the continuity and stability the City already has. I want to further strengthen what we have built together.
I enjoy walking the Arboretum and the neighborhoods of Arcadia. I especially enjoy seeing new neighbors moving in, new businesses opening up, and existing ones thriving.
I came to love Arcadia on one of those walks. I was walking my dog down a tree-lined street when I saw an elderly couple on the other side, walking hand-in-hand. They moved gingerly but with purpose, so clearly in love with each other. The image of them walking from sunlight into shadow felt straight out of a movie.
This is one of many images I hold of Arcadia. Others are families playing on lawns and in parks, their laughter and playfulness filling the neighborhoods. These moments only happen when a city is safe, with excellent schools and a community that cares for families and seniors alike.
It is my honor to serve Arcadia and help ensure these moments continue for generations to come.
Council Member John Han was appointed by Arcadia City Council on June 16, 2026, to serve the remainder of the term for District 3 until the next election cycle.
