Eileen Wang is the daughter of proud immigrants who came to California seeking their American Dream. She is a longtime Arcadia resident, community leader, and educator. Eileen ran for City Council to be a strong voice for her neighborhood and take a direct role in addressing resident and public concerns she had seen and heard throughout her 15 years of community service.

She has been deeply involved in various City and service groups, including the Arcadia Rotary Club, Arcadia Chamber of Commerce, Arcadia Lions Club, Arcadia Association of Realtors, and the Arcadia High School Chinese Parents Booster Club. She has been a frequent collaborator with several local law enforcement and fire agencies, and she played a crucial role in organizing various cultural events such as “US Heroes Music and Art Festival” for the last two years. Eileen’s community involvement has provided her with insight into the concerns and problems her fellow residents face, guiding her decision-making process on the City Council.

Eileen is a strong proponent of creating collaborative relationships among residents. From 2008 to 2010, Eileen served on the Camino Grove Elementary School Parent Teacher Association (PTA). In 2012, she organized and oversaw a local neighborhood watch program in Arcadia. Starting from 2018 to 2022, Eileen then served as President of the American Southwest Chamber of Commerce USA. During this time, she founded the US Sun Foundation, which has raised support for local children and their families. Eileen will continue to be a leader in the community by developing even more community service partnerships.

Her passion is education, and she has been the owner of Tutorial Services in Arcadia for over 15 years. Eileen operates with the belief that a robust education is paramount for the continued success for individuals, future generations, and the community at large. She believes meaningful change by community leaders begins with local community service and will continue to involve Arcadia's residents in the process.

As Mayor Pro Tem, Eileen’s goals are to bring a strong voice to the City Council regarding the community issues residents experience daily. Specifically, she aims to heighten public safety standards, maintain financial responsibility and transparency in the City budget, and improve the quality of life for all Arcadia residents.
