General Municipal Election - Tuesday, November 3, 2026 

A General Municipal Election will be held in the City of Arcadia on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, to elect City Council Members for Electoral Districts 2, 3, and 5. 

Eligibility Requirements

To hold elective office, candidates must be a United States citizen, 18 years or older, a registered voter in the City of Arcadia, and reside within the district in which they are seeking election at the time nomination papers are issued.

Nomination Period

The nomination period for this election begins on Monday, July 13, 2026, and closes Friday, August 7, 2026. To request and receive candidate materials and informational paperwork (commonly referred to as “pulling papers”), candidates must schedule an appointment with the City Clerk’s Office by email at CityClerk@ArcadiaCA.gov or by calling (626) 574-5455.

Vote by Mail

Voters may drop-off their VBM ballot at any Drop Box location within Los Angeles County. Below are the VBM Drop Box locations within the City of Arcadia:

Drop Boxes are available 24/7 during the voting period May 4 through June 2, 2026. Los Angeles County Registrar of Voter staff will collect deposited ballots every 24-48 hours. Drop Boxes will close at 8:00 P.M. on June 2, 2026 Election Day. Visit LAVote.gov for more information on Vote-by-Mail.

Los Angeles County is also offering in-person voting at voting centers throughout the County.
