General Municipal Election - Tuesday, November 3, 2026
A General Municipal Election will be held in the City of Arcadia on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, to elect City Council Members for Electoral Districts 2, 3, and 5.
Vote-by-mail ballots begin mailing on October 5, 2026. Same-day voter registration is available at any Vote Center in Los Angeles County.
Personally delivered ballots must be delivered by the close of polls on Tuesday, November 3, 2026 (7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.). Mailed ballots must be postmarked on or before Election Day and received by the Los Angeles County Elections Office within seven (7) days of the election. Vote by Mail
Voters may return their Vote by Mail (VBM) ballot at any official ballot drop box in Los Angeles County. The following Vote by Mail ballot drop box locations are within the City of Arcadia:

Ballot drop box locations will be made available 30 days before Election Day and are open 24 hours a day through Election Day. On Election Day, the drop boxes will be closed by 8:00 p.m.

Los Angeles County also offers in-person voting at Vote Centers throughout the County. Any registered voter may vote at any Vote Center in the County. Please visit LAvote.gov to find Vote Cetner locations. A list of locations will be made available 30-40 days before Election Day.

Eligibility Requirements
To hold elective office, candidates must be a United States citizen, 18 years or older, a registered voter in the City of Arcadia, and reside within the district in which they are seeking election at the time nomination papers are issued.
Nomination Period
The nomination period for this election begins on Monday, July 13, 2026, and closes Friday, August 7, 2026. To request and receive candidate materials and informational paperwork (commonly referred to as “pulling papers”), candidates must schedule an appointment with the City Clerk’s Office by email at CityClerk@ArcadiaCA.gov or by calling (626) 574-5455.
