Sustainable Arcadia

The City has established several environmental programs to aid the community in sustaining long-term environmental practices.

Environmental Services is also responsible for promoting sustainable environmental practices and ensuring compliance with all Federal and State regulations. The City's Stormwater and Industrial Waste Programs have been developed to protect the local waterways from pollution and enhance water quality in the City of Arcadia. 

Energy Wise Partnership:
The City of Arcadia participates in the San Gabriel Valley Energy Wise Partnership. The partnership helps the City and its residents and business owners to reduce their energy usage and costs. Visit sgvenergywise.org for more information on ways to reduce energy usage and energy costs in your home or business.

Energy Assessment Screening for your Home:
The Energy Assessment Screening for Your Home (EASY) program provides a free home assessment that helps identify opportunities to reduce energy usage and costs. With the home assessment, you will receive customized solutions and project recommendations, as well as information on rebate and financing programs through local utility companies like Southern California Edison and Southern California Gas Company. Participation in the EASY home assessment is voluntary.
