Construction Updates

The Public Works Services Department administers various projects included in the City's Capital Improvement and Equipment Plan.  These projects are related to the City's infrastructure and are necessary to maintain a safe and healthy quality of life in Arcadia.  Public Works Services Projects include such things as road and sidewalk improvements, tree projects, building maintenance, water and sewer maintenance and improvements, traffic signals, and park maintenance.

Eisenhower Park Renovation Project:  The project will involve renovations to the following park amenities: parking lot, baseball field, restrooms, concession stand, playground area, and dog park.  Renovations will begin August 2019 with park renovations expected to be completed by January 2020. Renovations at the dog park will be completed by April 2020. Work hours will be from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.  No work will take place on Sunday and holidays.  View the full construction notice for what to expect during construction.  Both Eisenhower Park and the dog park will be closed during construction.  

Live Oak Well Treatment System Project (Updated 1/15/20): The project will include the demolition of an existing block wall, construction of a concrete foundation pad to support treatment vessels; construction and installation of underground and above ground piping, fittings, and valves. Work is scheduled to begin May 2019 and will be completed by March 2020.  View the full construction notice for project location and what to expect during construction.
