Construction Updates

The Public Works Services Department administers various projects included in the City's Capital Improvement and Equipment Plan.  These projects are related to the City's infrastructure and are necessary to maintain a safe and healthy quality of life in Arcadia.  Public Works Services Projects include such things as road and sidewalk improvements, tree projects, building maintenance, water and sewer maintenance and improvements, traffic signals, and park maintenance.

Water Valve Replacement ProjectWater Valve Image
The project involves replacing a 30-inch water valve on southbound Santa Anita Avenue between Foothill Boulevard and Sycamore Avenue.  Work is scheduled to begin early June 2020 and is expected to be competed by August 2020.  View the full construction notice for work hours and what to expect during construction.

Water Main Replacement ProjectRoad Closed
The project involves removing and replaceing the two existing 6” cast iron water mains with two 10” ductile iron water mains on Camino Real Avenue between Sixth Avenue and Eighth Avenue.  Work is scheduled to begin late July 2020 and is expected to be competed by the end of September 2020.  View the full construction notice for work hours and what to expect during construction.
