Lieutenant Bourgeous joined the Arcadia Police Department in 2000 after earning a Bachelor’s degree from California State University, Fullerton.  Lt. Bourgeous has worked a variety of assignments over his 20 plus year career, including: Patrol Officer, Special Weapons and Tactics Team member, Firearms Instructor, Detective, Patrol Supervisor, Traffic Bureau Supervisor and Detective Bureau Supervisor.  Lt. Bourgeous is currently assigned to the Operations Division as a Watch Commander and is the Area 3 Commander.
