Update: Waste Management Services Recycling and Greenwaste Pick-Up Service Delayed

Waste Management (WM) continues to experience staffing shortages due to COVID-19 impacts.   As a result, WM has implemented a temporary change from weekly to bi-weekly collection of recycling and greenwaste in Arcadia starting Wednesday, December 30th.  WM expresses its appreciation for your understanding during this difficult time.

Below is the temporary service schedule which will continue until further notice:

  • January 6th – Trash and greenwaste carts only
  • January 13th – Trash and recycling carts only
  • January 20th – Trash and greenwaste carts only
  • January 27th - Trash and recycling only

Extra Greenwaste: Residents with extra green waste that will not fit in their cart can place the material in a bag or tie it down into a bundle and place next to the cart.

Extra Recyclables: Please break down cardboard boxes to make room for extra recyclables or hold the recyclable items over for the next pickup.  Update as of Jan. 8, 2021: Customers can now place extra recyclables in a plastic bag next to the cart.

Please note: Christmas trees will be picked up on greenwaste collection weeks.  Bulky item pickup will not be affected.
