SCE Offers Public Safety Power Shutoff Alerts and Medical Baseline Program

SCE is prioritizing customer safety by offering Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) Alerts and Medical Baseline (MBL) program. 

Get Outage Alerts
Sign up or update your contact information to get emails or texts about outages near you, including PSPS alerts by visiting sce.com/safety/wildfire/psps/psps-alerts 

Discounted Rates - MBL Program
Customers who use electrically operated medical devices in their homes are eligible for SCE’s MBL program. Those enrolled will receive additional electricity per day at a discounted rate. To find out more about this program, requirements, and the application process, visit sce.com/medicalbaseline 

MBL customers who rely on life-support equipment will be notified about upcoming power outages. In order for them to receive these notifications, SCE urges customers to confirm their contact information and update the preferred method of communication (phone, text, email, TTY) by visiting sce.com/mysce/login

Community Safety Meetings

To educate customers about SCE’s wildfire mitigation activities and PSPS, SCE is hosting a series of virtual community meetings starting May 13, 2020 for the general public and for specific communities. To view a schedule of meeting dates and available wildfire resources, visit sce.com/wildfire
