Meet the Arcadia Police Department's K9 Team

The K9 Program was established in 2015. Officers who are chosen to be a K9 handler complete specialized training along with their K9 partners.  Once training is completed, the K9 teams are assigned to the Patrol Division. Certain K9s receive secondary training to detect items such as explosives, firearms, discarded objects, or narcotics. The K9 teams attend numerous training courses to keep their K9 partners ready for any situation they may face while patrolling the community. Currently consisting of two teams, meet the dedicated canines that protect and serve the City of Arcadia.
