Scout Program Postcard for Website

The Gilb Museum is proud to offer Scout programming free of charge to local Arcadia Girl Scout and Cub Scout groups.

The Gilb Museum of Arcadia Heritage offers Girl Scout programs that meet the requirements for specific Girl Scout Badges. Programs are offered as private events.

Reservations are required for all Girl Scout programs. Furthermore, the Gilb Museum requires three weeks prior reservation. Programs are not confirmed without the submission of a signed Girl Scout Program Contract. Incomplete contracts will not be processed. Contracts must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the program date to be processed. 

Girl Scout programs are offered September through June. All Girl Scout programs will take place on Saturdays. Please contact the Gilb Museum to learn more about staff availability. Please note that submitting a request form for a Girl Scout program does not guarantee a scheduled program. Scout programming is subject to Museum staff availability. 

Programs can be scheduled to start at 10:00 am or 2:00 pm, and will last approximately one hour. Girl Scout Troops will be able to additionally request a complimentary 30 minute Museum tour in addition to the program run time. 

There is a minimum requirement of 5 Scouts per program. If your troop does not meet this size requirement, we suggest that you partner with other local Scout troops. There is a requirement of 1 chaperone (over the age of 18) per 5 Scouts.

All Girl Scout programs will take place in the Gilb’s Museum Education Center, unless otherwise stated.
