The Arcadia Fire Department Fire Explorer Program provides young adults with a unique opportunity to gain firsthand experience in the fire service while learning about emergency response, station life, and fire service.

Program Overview
Fire Explorers must participate in at least one monthly ride-along, rotating between fire stations to experience daily operations and respond to a wide range of calls - from medical emergencies to large scale incidents. Explorers are actively involved in station life, including participating in daily training and delivering drills to crew members through short presentations on fire equipment. Throughout the program, participants receive mentorship and guidance from fire personnel to help prepare them for a potential career in the fire service.
