Title VI - Nondiscrimination Programs

The City of Arcadia is committed to ensuring that no person is excluded from participation in, denied the benefits of, or subjected to discrimination on the basis of race, color, or national origin in any program or activity receiving federal financial assistance, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Title VI Program

This program applies to the City's public transportation services funded by the Federal Transit Administration. The City of Arcadia operates Arcadia Transit services without regard to race, color, and national origin in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.  Any person who believes she or he has been aggrieved by any unlawful discriminatory practice under Title VI may file a complaint with the City of Arcadia.

A complainant may file a complaint directly with the Federal Transit Administration by filing a complaint with the Office of Civil Rights: Regions 9, 201 Mission Street, Suite 1650, San Francisco, CA 94105.

Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Title VI Program

This program applies to federally funded transportation and public works projects administered through the Federal Highway Administration.
