Protected Healthy Tree Removal Permit No. TRH 26-11 and Protected Tree Encroachment Permit No. TRE 26-09
The request is to remove 34 protected Oak trees associated with LA28 Cross Country Course, the planting of 34 new trees, and allow the proposed improvements and course to encroach within 45 Oak Trees.
Notice of Pending Decision - No decision regarding the proposed project will be made prior to the Community Meeting.

Upcoming Community Meeting - August 27, 2026
In partnership with Santa Anita Park and the LA28 Team, the City is providing the community with an opportunity to learn more about the proposed project. This meeting will provide an opportunity to share the proposed project with a broader community, as comments and questions have been received from residents beyond the Arcadia area.

Enter through Gate 5 off Colorado Place and self-park. Please follow the LA28 Community Meeting Signs that will be posted at Gate 5 near the Club House.

Members of the public will have an opportunity to view the entire project, learn more about the proposed cross-country course, and ask questions directly from project representatives at the Community Meeting on August 27.
