Arcadia homeowners interested in improving their property may be eligible for a grant to pay for certain improvements such as plumbing, electrical, energy-efficient doors and windows, roofing, interior and exterior painting, termite inspection and repairs, accessibility modifications and more. To qualify, applicants must own the home, meet household income limits, and must have resided in the home for a minimum of five years prior to receiving assistance. Additionally, grant recipients are required to reside in the home for a minimum of five years following completion of the improvements or pay back the grant amount in full upon sale, transfer of title, or conversion to a rental property. Please also note that in compliance with Executive Order 14218, all applicants must complete a declaration of their U.S. citizenship or eligible immigration status.
