General Contractors and Subcontractors are required to obtain a City business license. To apply online click on the icon below, or to apply in person download the application and submit it to the City's Business License Division located at 240 W. Huntington Drive, Arcadia, CA 91007.

After submitting your application online, you will receive an email confirmation acknowledging that we have received your Business License Application. You may receive an email asking for further detailed information and instructions on how to submit your payment online. The business license certificate will be send within 3-5 business days.
BUSINESS LICENSE RENEWAL
A business license is valid for one-year and may be renewed annually. To complete the online renewal, you will need your business license account number and your pin number located on the annual license renewal notice that will be send every month.
The Building Division requires the completion and approval of a Subcontractors list before issuing a Certificate of Occupancy for any construction project. The Subcontractors list must contain the business information of all subcontractors that worked on the subject project. The subcontractors noted on the list must have a valid City Business License. A copy of the Subcontractors list may be accessed below by clicking on the icon. Once the Subcontractors list is complete, please email it to: BL@ArcadiaCa.gov or mail it to:
