Arcadia launched its first community survey to gather feedback from residents! The survey began in April and closed on May 8, 2024.

By participating in the Arcadia Community Survey, residents had an opportunity to share insights and experiences as a resident of Arcadia. This comprehensive assessment delved into various aspects of the Arcadia community, including programs, services, civic engagement, and more.

How did it work?

Survey responses were collected in two phases in both English and Chinese. The surveys provided during both phases were identical and took approximately 15 minutes to complete.

  • In the initial phase, a randomly selected representative sample of 3,000 Arcadia households received a mailed notice, inviting them to participate in the survey. The random representative sample guarantees an accurate reflection of the demographic profile of adults in Arcadia, ensuring the statistical validity of the survey.
  • In the second phase, residents who did not receive the mailed survey were invited to provide their feedback by completing the survey online. The online survey was open to all residents and was available from April 24 through May 8, 2024.

Remaining Anonymous

The Arcadia Community Survey is administered by an independent third-party research firm, Polco. No matter how you responded to the survey, your responses will remain completely anonymous and confidential. The City of Arcadia cannot identify you through your feedback and Polco will not sell or distribute personal information of survey participants. To learn more, view Polco's Privacy Policy.

Survey Results

The data collected through the survey is analyzed by Polco, allowing the City of Arcadia to compare its services and offerings to the hundreds of communities in California that have also conducted the survey. Results will also be provided specifically for the north, south, east, and west areas of Arcadia. Your feedback will guide the City in allocating resources to enhance the well-being of our community in the areas that matter most to you.
