Searching for a local place where you can relax and unwind after a stressful week? Come visit the City of Arcadia’s Wilderness Park, a peaceful place for great families, small groups, and individuals. This park is conveniently located in the San Gabriel Mountains at the top of Highland Oaks Drive. Come out and take pleasure in the wonders of nature that are located in your own backyard. 

 

Wilderness Park Hike

Park Reservations

Wilderness Park is available for weekend day-use and overnight camping. Reservations are available to non-profit groups only and are currently being accepted for the 2020 calendar year. Refundable deposit(s) are due at signing. 

 

Merit Badge Classes

The Boy Scouts and Wilderness Park have a history of being a great match.  A variety of Boy Scout merit badge classes are available including Indian Lore, Mammal study, Reptile and Amphibian study, Environmental Science, Emergency Preparedness, First Aid, Citizenship in the Community, Citizenship in the Nation, Citizenship in the World, Communications, Sustainability, Personal Management, Personal Fitness, Pioneering, Camping and Hiking.  Classes are held on Saturday. 

All scouts must have a signed Blue Card from their Scoutmaster prior to taking Merit Badge Classes.
