Youth Opportunity Grants (Summer Only)

The City of Arcadia offers Youth Opportunity Grants to qualified youngsters. The program is designed to give low-income youth, ages 18 and under, who live in Arcadia, a chance to participate in Recreation and Community Services Department activities, classes and trips that they may not otherwise be able to afford.

Funding ranges from 50-100% of program costs and is programmed to serve as many kids as possible, within budget limitations. Applications are confidential and processed in the order received. Grants are awarded on the basis of need, after verifying family income and residency.

For more information about Youth Opportunity Grants, please leave a brief message for Genevieve Valiquette, CDBG Caseworker, at (626) 651-7024. Genevieve will return your call within three days.
