Monday & Thursday from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Imagination Theater at the Arcadia Public Library
Re-Zone is a free and supervised program available to youth in grades 6-8. The center is supervised by Recreation Leaders and allows youth to have a safe place to hang out or study with friends. The program provides a monthly calendar of daily activities and special events the youth can participate in such as tournaments, movie days, table games and homework help. There is no charge for the program, but fees will apply for some special events. The Re-Zone is closed on all AUSD holidays, minimum days and certain dates that the Library is unavailable. (Participants will be notified of these dates in advance). This is a drop-in program and participants are required to register.
The Teen Summer Zone
Zone is a summer youth center that provides safe, fun supervised
activities for youngsters ages 12-17. The Zone is a free drop-in program
led by Recreation Leaders. Participants are required to
sign in and out on a daily basis and may come and go without
Transportation to and from the Zone is the responsibility of the participant and is not provided by the City. Participants are responsible for their own lunch and snacks.
The Zone is located at Foothill Middle School (171 East Sycamore Ave). The Zone will take field trips every other Friday, to the Arcadia County Pool (405 South Santa Anita Ave). The Zone will be closed at 12:30 p.m. on the Friday Pool Trip days which concludes at 3 p.m. Operating hours are Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Pre-registration will be taken at the Recreation Office.
