The Capital Improvement and Equipment Plan is a general financial plan for capital improvement and equipment replacement, and the proposed means of financing them. These projects are, for the most part, related to the City's infrastructure and are necessary to maintain a safe and healthy quality of life in Arcadia. The Program outlines capital projects that are scheduled for a five-year period. These projects may include such things as road and sidewalk improvements, tree projects, park/playground equipment, building maintenance, water and sewer maintenance and improvements, traffic signals, park maintenance and related matters.

The Development Services Department and the Public Works Services Department work together to administer the projects included in the Capital Improvement and Equipment Plan.
