The City of Arcadia contracts its City Attorney services with the law firm of Best Best & Krieger LLP.
The City Attorney provides legal guidance to the City Council, Boards and Commissions and City Departments on all City related legal matters. The City Attorney's Office drafts and reviews ordinances, resolutions, contracts, agreements and other City related legal documents. Under the direction of the City Council and the City Manager, the City Attorney’s office prosecutes all Municipal Code violations.
Under the direction of the City Manager, the Chief Deputy City Clerk/Records Manager coordinates and oversees the daily activities and operations of the City Attorney's Office as well as the City Clerk's Office.
