The Scouts BSA Merit Badge program gives Scouts the opportunity to explore and learn. The Recreation & Community Services Department offers a variety of Merit Badges. Click here to view a list of offered badges on our recreation catalog. Registration can be made online, in person at the Recreation Office, mailed in, or faxed.
COUNSELORS: Our counselors are registered with the Boy Scout of America organization and are approved by their local council advancement committee for each of their badges and have completed the Youth Protection training. Additional information and resources on youth protection can be found on the Scouts BSA website.
CLASSES: Scouts can start merit badges at any time after registering in Scouts BSA or becoming a qualified Venturer or Sea Scout. Scouts must be in uniform when attending the class, whether it’s virtual or in person, and must have read the pamphlet prior to class.
