Library Volunteers

The Arcadia Public Library relies on its volunteers to help out in many areas of the Library.  For those who wish to apply, the Library's Volunteer Programs offers opportunities to satisfy Community Service requirements or to satisfy the desire to serve the community.

We have a variety of volunteer positions for a  variety of ages and skills.  For most volunteer positions the Library requests that volunteers commit to volunteer a minimum of two hours per week for at least six months. You need to be 13 years of age or older. The Library is unable to accommodate court appointed community service hours.  In addition, all applicants are asked to complete a Livescan/background check which the Library will arrange for you at no cost to you.

Printed applications are also available at each of the public service desks at the Library. Applications may be turned in at any of the public service desks.
