CC- Watch City Council Meetings

 City Council meetings are held on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers located at 240 West Huntington Drive, unless otherwise noted. Residents are encouraged to attend these public meetings to find out what's happening in our community.

Boards and Commissions meetings are held according to their commission guidelines. Schedule of Board and Commission Meetings. 

Missed a Council Meeting?
For the benefit of residents who cannot attend in person, City Council meetings are broadcast live to all residents who subscribe to local cable television service on the Arcadia Community Television Channel (AT&T channel 99, Spectrum digital channel 15-257) with daily replays at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m., and on-demand availability online. Commission meetings are not televised.

Pop-Up Community Arts Workshop: Music, Motion, and Math

Ages 5-8  

Music and movement session will focus usage of mathematical intelligence and awareness by pattern recognition through singing games, song-tales, echo songs, listening, using props, folk dance, tap,clap, and playing patterns on non-pitched percussion instruments, and pitched barred instruments. This session will encourage and nurture each child's ability to carry out three artistic processes, namely, creating, performing, and responding with an age-specific STEM-based curriculum which is fun, creative and appropriate for building a strong foundation of language development, and social-emotional development. 

Registration is required for the Music, Motion, and Math program. In person registration begins Saturday, July 7 in the Arcadia Public Library's Jerry Broadwell Children's Room. 

10-11am: Priority registration for Arcadia residents. Must show photo identification with proof of residency.

11am onward: Open registration.

If space is available, phone-in registration accepted starting Monday, July 9.
