CC- Watch City Council Meetings

 City Council meetings are held on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers located at 240 West Huntington Drive, unless otherwise noted. Residents are encouraged to attend these public meetings to find out what's happening in our community.

Boards and Commissions meetings are held according to their commission guidelines. Schedule of Board and Commission Meetings. 

Missed a Council Meeting?
For the benefit of residents who cannot attend in person, City Council meetings are broadcast live to all residents who subscribe to local cable television service on the Arcadia Community Television Channel (AT&T channel 99, Spectrum digital channel 15-257) with daily replays at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m., and on-demand availability online. Commission meetings are not televised.

Smart Gardening Workshop

Try your hand at smart gardening by turning your food scraps and yard trimmings into nutrient-rich compost! Composting helps improve soil quality and its ability to retain moisture. All it takes is some time and patience to turn your organic waste into thriving compost. A free workshop will be hosted at the L.A. County Arboretum on Saturday, March 17 from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. Come learn about backyard composting, water-wise gardening, worm composting, and grasscycling!

Arcadia residents can waive the $9 entrance fee with RSVP to the City's Water Conservation Program. To RSVP, contact (626) 254-2700 or email and provide the following information:

  • Address
  • Email or telephone number
  • Number of people attending (maximum 4 per household)
