City Council meetings are held on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Council Chambers located at 240 West Huntington Drive, unless otherwise noted. Residents are encouraged to attend these public meetings to find out what's happening in our community.

Missed a Council Meeting?
For the benefit of residents who cannot attend in person, City Council meetings are broadcast live to all residents who subscribe to local cable television service on the Arcadia Community Television Channel (AT&T channel 99, Spectrum digital channel 15-257) with daily replays at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m., and on-demand availability online. Commission meetings are not televised.

Join children’s and young adult author Julie Berry as she leads a hands-on creative writing workshop just for kids ages 8 to 14 years. Registration is required.
In-person registration for Let’s Make a Story begins Saturday, January 27 at the Arcadia Public Library.
Priority Registration for Arcadia Residents: 10:00 am – 11:00 am (must show proof of residency)
Open Registration: 11:00 am onward
If space is available, phone-in registration accepted starting Monday, January 29.
Julie Berry is the author of the 2017 Printz Honor and Los Angeles Times Book Prize shortlisted novel The Passion of Dolssa, the Carnegie and Edgar shortlisted All the Truth That’s in Me (2013, Viking), the Odyssey Honor title The Scandalous Sisterhood of Prickwillow Place (2014, Roaring Brook), and six others. Her latest novel, The Emperor’s Ostrich, released June 13, 2017 from Roaring Brook. She holds a BS from Rensselaer in communication and an MFA from Vermont College. She lives in the Los Angeles area with her family.
