New Year Rain Barrel Event

Add sustainable living to your New Year's resolutions and reap the benefits of rainwater harvesting:

  • Rainwater is the softest water; you can wash your car, pets, or water your garden with it.
  • By capturing rainwater, you're diverting stormwater runoff from carrying pollutants to the ocean.
  • You're reducing your water footprint and improving self-sufficiency.

Order your quality rain barrel online here. Rain barrels ordered or reserved for purchase will be available for pick up on Sunday, January 21 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the Arcadia Public Library's parking lot.

There will be a highly recommended rain barrel installation class at the Floretta K. Lauber Museum Education Center from 2:00-3:00 p.m., where resourceful tips, best practices, and mosquito prevention information will be shared.

A $35 after-purchase rebate is available, visit for more information.
